From Idea to Vision
The Witness Tree is an original work that left the door open for interpretation when it came to lighting.

After many discussions with the director and playwright, as well as listening to the initial readthrough with the cast, I knew that my vision held a warm vs cool aspect to it, so lighting could help the audience feel the distinction between the two time periods within the play.
